Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of three years culinary management experience
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Experience with inventory management and purchasing controls
- Ability to manage P&L and contract foodservice operations
- Passion for sustainability and local food sourcing
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
- Solid understanding of HACCP standards
- Extensive knowledge of food trends, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage full culinary operations of food service including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Oversee menu development focusing on local food sourcing
- Apply cost control measures and purchasing strategies
- Maintain knowledge and implementation of food safety protocols such as HACCP
- Monitor P&L accountability and contract-managed service operations
- Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure quality food production and presentation
- Promote sustainability practices within the food service operation
