Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice or similar setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls
  • Proven knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, healthcare environment
  • Passion for sustainability and health-focused foodservice

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • ServSafe certified is a plus

Job Duties

  • Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
  • Possesses a passion for sustainability
  • Maintain compliance with HACCP standards
  • Implement food production and sanitation protocols
  • Manage food cost controls and presentation
  • Perform exposition cooking duties
