We are currently seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to oversee culinary and food service operations within this expanding business. This role carries significant responsibility, including full culinary management of the operation, inventory control, purchasing, menu development, and cost management. The Chef Manager will play a key role in steering the food service toward success while maintaining high standards of quality, sustainability, and efficiency. This leadership position requires a passion for food innovation and a keen understanding of contract-managed services, cost controls, and operational excellence. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, reflecting the expertise and impact expected of the successful candidate.
The Chef Manager will be involved in managing all aspects of the culinary operation, including inventory oversight, ordering and receiving, as well as ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP. A strong knowledge of P&L accountability is desired, along with experience in contract foodservice or fine dining settings. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of culinary management experience, with thorough knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, production efficiency, food cost controls, and presentation. Experience with exposition cooking is also required. Certifications such as ServSafe are considered a plus, enhancing the candidate's ability to uphold rigorous standards in food handling and safety.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience
- Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety protocols
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Passion for sustainability and food quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining
- Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing controls
- Proficient in menu development and cost control
