Job Requirements

  • Must have three years culinary management experience
  • Knowledge of inventory and purchasing controls
  • Understanding of food production and sanitation
  • Ability to manage a contract food service operation
  • Passion for sustainability
  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant settings
  • Working knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Familiarity with food cost controls and inventory management
  • Experience with exposition cooking
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Develop and implement menus with a focus on quality and cost control
  • Oversee purchasing practices emphasizing local sourcing
  • Maintain adherence to food production and sanitation standards
  • Monitor and control food cost and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP standards
  • Lead and motivate culinary staff in a contract-managed service environment
