Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years culinary management experience
- Experience in contract-managed food service operations
- Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and cost control
- Ability to lead and manage culinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Minimum three years culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant setting
- Experience with inventory and purchasing controls
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality and presentation
- Experience with exposition cooking
- Understanding of profit and loss accountability
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage culinary and food service operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
- Develop and implement menus focused on local sourcing and sustainability
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and safety standards
- Control food costs and maintain budget accountability
- Lead and train kitchen and service staff to deliver high-quality meals
- Manage profit and loss and contract service performance
- Oversee sanitation, production quality, and food presentation
