Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in culinary leadership roles
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume kitchen operations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of progressive culinary leadership experience preferably in a large hotel resort campus dining program or other high-volume operation known for quality cuisine
  • Strong ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining a hands-on approach
  • Expertise in menu planning budget management and operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all back-of-house operations ensuring excellence in food quality presentation and service
  • Develop innovative seasonal menus that balance nutrition flavor and variety
  • Oversee food sourcing vendor relationships inventory control and budget management
  • Recruit train and mentor culinary team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety sanitation and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan special events banquets and themed dining experiences
