Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in culinary management
- Experience in contract foodservice or restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of inventory and purchasing controls
- Ability to manage P&L responsibilities
- Commitment to sustainability
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HACCP
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or fine dining
- Strong inventory and purchasing control experience
- In-depth knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Experience in exposition cooking
- Knowledge of P&L accountability
- ServSafe certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage full culinary operations including inventory control, ordering, and receiving
- Develop innovative menus with a focus on local sourcing
- Implement cost control measures and purchasing strategies
- Oversee food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain P&L accountability and manage contract service expectations
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the food service operation
