Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant culinary certification preferred
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Proven experience in inventory, purchasing, and food cost control
  • Ability to develop menus emphasizing local and sustainable products
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Passion for sustainability and quality culinary service

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HACCP
  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant environments
  • Proficient in inventory control, purchasing, and cost management
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality and production
  • Experience with exposition cooking preferred
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Proven capability in managing P&L and contract service operations

Job Duties

  • Manage full culinary operations including inventory, ordering, and receiving
  • Oversee food service operation with emphasis on cost control and sustainability
  • Develop menus with a focus on local food products and current trends
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, food quality, and presentation
  • Monitor P&L accountability and contract-managed service agreements
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards including HACCP guidelines
