The Chef Manager Senior role at CulinArt is a pivotal leadership position focused on managing both the back and front of house operations within the food service departments. This leadership role demands a hands-on approach to maintaining a high-quality culinary program, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, and overseeing financial responsibilities such as processing all financial reporting. The successful candidate will play an integral role in menu development, inventory management, purchasing, as well as labor and food cost controls. This position offers a salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 per year and represents a chance to join a reputable company that values culinary excellence and operational efficiency. As a Chef Manager Senior, you will be expected to implement and supervise safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs, maintain food cost controls while upholding quality standards, and actively manage team development efforts. Emphasis is placed on leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
The role is designed for someone who is proactive, innovative, and capable of multitasking under pressure while motivating their team. CulinArt values individuals who possess a passion for excellence, a deep understanding of HACCP controls, and solid experience in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in P&L and financial reporting, knowledge of budgeting, labor cost management, and inventory controls.
Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, coaching, and training skills supported by computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional business etiquette, and client relations abilities are essential. Physical capability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 pounds is required alongside conformity to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
