We are currently seeking a dedicated FULL TIME HOURLY CHEF to join the team at our New Orleans location. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.00 and a Monday through Friday work schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Job Duties
- Direct, coordinate and evaluate kitchen and food production associates
- supervise, coordinate and participate in food preparation and cooking activities
- ensure food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met
- supervise hourly kitchen associates including interviewing, scheduling and training
- prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes
- serve meals or prepare food for delivery
- ensure proper presentation, food quality and portion control
- track food use, waste and inventory
- receive and inspect product and supplies
- maintain sanitation of equipment and work area
- clean workstation thoroughly
- keep display equipment clean during meal service
- assist in selecting and developing recipes and menus
- perform other duties as assigned
