The role of Executive Chef Support at Eurest involves overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. This position is instrumental in ensuring that all meals are prepared according to corporate programs and guidelines, reflecting Eurest’s commitment to quality and excellence. The individual in this role works closely with the Executive Chef, supporting various operational duties, including team coordination, food preparation, cost control, and program implementation.

This role requires a professional who can creatively prepare high-quality food items in a cost-effective manner while supporting the management of cost controls for the account. The Executive Chef Support also plays a key role in rolling out new culinary programs in partnership with marketing and culinary teams, supervising kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, and assisting in food planning, ordering, and inventory management. This position is ideal for someone with a strong culinary background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, food services technology, management or related field
  • or associate degree in culinary arts with specialized training
  • 3-5 years culinary experience
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong customer service abilities
  • proficient oral and written communication
  • knowledge of food cost control
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • commitment to quality food preparation and presentation

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology, Management, or related field
  • A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience
  • excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills
  • knowledge of food cost and its impact on kitchen operations
  • familiarity with food industry trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, safety, cost controls, and presentation

Job Duties

  • Coordinate activities of kitchen personnel engaged in food preparation
  • ensure high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented cost effectively
  • assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
  • support management of cost controls and expenditures
  • roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen
