Job Requirements

At least 2-3 years of experience in a culinary position
post-high school education preferably with a culinary degree
knowledge of culinary principles and practices
management experience
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years experience in a related culinary position
2-3 years of post-high school education preferably in culinary arts
advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
strong management and problem-solving skills
effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills

Job Duties

Train and lead kitchen personnel
supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
establish presentation techniques and quality standards and plan and price menus
ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance and enforce safety and sanitation standards
oversee special catering events and offer culinary instruction or demonstrate culinary techniques
