Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine in a high-end restaurant, club, or resort
  • Ability to work full-time year-round including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Ability to lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
  • Ability to manage food and labor costs and inventory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent formal training preferred but not required
  • Must demonstrate a passion for food and a hospitality mindset
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced club environment

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute innovative and seasonal menus for the Fireside Restaurant
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff (seasonal and full time)
  • promote a positive and professional team environment
  • Monitor and control food and labor costs
  • manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
  • Collaborate with the Catering and Banquets teams to design custom menus and execute private events, occasionally
  • Stay current with culinary trends and techniques
  • introduce creative concepts that enhance the member experience
