Job Description
Conrad Orlando at Evermore is one of the most celebrated new luxury resort openings of 2024 and is part of the prestigious Hilton portfolio. Nestled on a sprawling 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort adjacent to Walt Disney World, this resort is inspired by nature and designed for adventure. The setting features an impressive 20-acre tropical beach and an 8-acre lagoon, creating a luxurious yet harmonious environment for both guests and team members alike. The resort boasts 433 rooms, including 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites, to suit a variety of guest needs and preferences. With extensive amenities such as 65,000 square feet of versatile meeting space split into 40,000 square feet indoors and 25,000 square feet outdoors, a serene spa, two championship 18-hole golf courses, and six distinctive food and beverage outlets, this resort offers a comprehensive luxury experience. The dining options include three uniquely themed restaurants—a rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside venue—a cocktail bar, a marketplace, and in-room dining services.
This position of Chef de Cuisine at Conrad Orlando is a key leadership role that offers you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic culinary environment focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for overseeing daily culinary operations, managing food preparation and production with a strong emphasis on consistency, quality, and cost control to maximize profitability. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and the Food & Beverage leadership team to develop and implement creative, seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the resort’s high standards. Inventory oversight and procurement responsibility fall under your remit, ensuring efficient ordering and vendor relations to deliver the best product quality at controlled costs. Participation in financial reviews such as profit and loss (P&L) statements, managing labor and food costs, and strategizing operational efficiencies will also be crucial to the role.
Beyond operational excellence, the Chef de Cuisine plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience through active engagement with guests and colleagues, incorporating feedback, and championing initiatives that elevate dining enjoyment. Team leadership is central—supporting, coaching, and inspiring kitchen staff to create a positive work environment conducive to professional growth and peak performance. Adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards is strictly maintained to ensure the wellbeing of guests and team members.
Conrad Orlando at Evermore offers an exceptional platform to thrive within the Hilton family's award-winning culture, recognized consistently on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton’s core values emphasize integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency—the very qualities sought after in a Chef de Cuisine. With remarkable benefits and opportunities for career development, this role is an ideal fit for culinary professionals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a landmark property that sets new standards for luxury travel and guest service.
