Job Description
One of the prominent properties under Pyramid Global Hospitality's umbrella is The Wigwam, an iconic Four Diamond hotel situated in the historic community of Litchfield Park, Arizona. Since 1929, The Wigwam has been a landmark known for offering an authentic Arizona experience across its expansive 440-acre grounds with 331 guest rooms. The property is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine to join their culinary team. This role demands a leader who thrives in a high-volume professional kitchen and who is passionate about creating innovative, seasonal menus that delight guests and maintain the highest quality standards.
The Chef de Cuisine will not only oversee the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food but also create a safe, sanitary, and efficient work environment that complies with all regulatory standards. This leader will be a hands-on mentor who supports and inspires their culinary team, fostering both personal and professional growth. They will partner with the Restaurant Manager to ensure outstanding guest experiences and lead by example in all facets of kitchen operations.
The successful candidate will be known for their creativity in menu development, cost control expertise, and ability to maintain seamless communication within the culinary team. Daily responsibilities include conducting kitchen walkthroughs, managing food allergens with urgency, updating prep sheets, guiding nightly cleaning, and participating in leadership meetings. Pyramid Global Hospitality offers a dynamic workplace for culinary professionals who are committed to excellence and eager to expand their careers within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Compensation packages are tailored individually based on experience, certifications, skill set, and location, ensuring that each team member is fairly rewarded. Pyramid Global Hospitality promotes equal opportunity employment and celebrates diversity, enhancing a culture where all employees feel valued and included.
