Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in upscale restaurant management
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Food handler's card if required by local and state law
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program that covers all aspects of running a successful kitchen
  • Lead the kitchen crew in scratch cooking of tried and true recipes as well as preparing weekly specials
  • Train, motivate and develop kitchen staff while focusing on business goals such as process improvements, growth, efficiency, profitability and compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized and ready to pass the white glove cleanliness test
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain kitchen operations
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
  • Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with overall restaurant goals
