Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food and beverage management or culinary leadership
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Ability to maintain professional appearance standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of food and beverage
- Is an organized, self-motivated, and proactive chef with strong attention to detail
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience supervising food service operations including catering and events
- Ability to coach and develop employees
- Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Supervise the execution of regular service, catering, take-out, delivery, and all in/off-venue events
- Guide operations to ensure safety, quality, recipe accuracy, and financial profitability
- Maintain professional appearance standards as per company guidelines
- Coach and develop employees by setting clear guidelines and expectations
- Ensure employees comply with all kitchen standards and procedures
- Organize, develop, and produce new recipes for potential new menu items and specials
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Ensure venue compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies
- Communicate professionally with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership
