Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management or culinary leadership
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of food and beverage
  • Is an organized, self-motivated, and proactive chef with strong attention to detail
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supervising food service operations including catering and events
  • Ability to coach and develop employees
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise the execution of regular service, catering, take-out, delivery, and all in/off-venue events
  • Guide operations to ensure safety, quality, recipe accuracy, and financial profitability
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as per company guidelines
  • Coach and develop employees by setting clear guidelines and expectations
  • Ensure employees comply with all kitchen standards and procedures
  • Organize, develop, and produce new recipes for potential new menu items and specials
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
  • Ensure venue compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Communicate professionally with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership
