Job Qualifications

Passion to serve seniors
demonstrate good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
ability to multi-task and relate well with residents and their families
create a positive environment encouraging creative, positive problem solving
contribute to an exceptional customer service experience
ability to relate well to residents and their families
high school diploma or GED equivalent
must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Cook or directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation
evaluate food products to ensure quality standards are consistently attained
follow the weekly posted menus
interact with the Culinary Experience Director to ensure food preparation exceeds expectations
adhere to standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
consult with the Culinary Experience Director regarding food production and special events
adhere to planned cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen areas and equipment
communicate and connect with residents to learn their dining tastes and preferences
