Job Duties
- Direct and coordinate kitchen, food production and food-service associates
- Supervise and participate in activities of cooks preparing, cooking and serving food
- Ensure food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met
- Interview, schedule, train and counsel hourly kitchen associates
- Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and production schedules
- Ensure proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- Track food use, waste and oversee product requisition and purchasing
- Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and inventory control
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and workstations
- Assist in recipe and menu development
- Perform other assigned duties
