Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant culinary experience
- Associates degree desired
- Serv-Safe Certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to maintain strict food safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage inventory and production tasks
- Commitment to teamwork and customer service
Job Qualifications
- Experience in gourmet or high-volume kitchen environments
- Advanced culinary degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Culinary awards or accreditation considered a plus
- Food safety awareness
- Effective communication and teaching skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
Job Duties
- Support a culture of safety including food safety, Team Member safety and customer safety
- Learn about food and share food knowledge with Team Members and customers
- Demonstrate suggestive selling techniques and provide active sampling opportunities
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect for Team Members, Customers, Vendors, and Community
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment meeting Food Safety, Food Holding, Temperature, and OSHA standards
- Manage inventories weekly and assist with monthly inventory taking
- Meet or exceed food cost percentage budgets by minimizing waste and following production strictly
