This encourages high performance and rewards employees for their dedication and effort. Available shifts for this part-time role include the mid-shift and closing times, offering flexibility for associates seeking to balance work with other commitments.

Walmart offers a host of competitive benefits for part-time employees, designed to support their health, financial security, and overall well-being. Benefits include comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, stock purchase opportunities, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off offerings are generous, including parental leave, family care leave, bereavement leave, jury duty leave, and voting leave. Other benefits such as short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement are also available. Associates have access to PTO and PPTO, which can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other personal purposes, meeting or exceeding any paid sick leave laws applicable to the location.

Further enhancing career development opportunities, Walmart provides the Live Better U education program for both full-time and part-time associates. This program covers tuition, books, and fees for courses ranging from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates.
