The role of Cocktail Server is crucial in achieving our mission of delivering superior hospitality. This position involves providing prompt and courteous service, assisting guests with their beverage selections including "call" and "premium" brands, and ensuring timely delivery of drinks garnished to perfection. The Cocktail Server works closely with bartenders and other team members to maintain bar areas, uphold sanitation standards, and support a welcoming environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a readiness to work collaboratively with others. Licensing in alcohol awareness is mandatory to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Previous cocktail server experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, bend, kneel and balance for extended periods
- Ability to push, pull and lift/carry 50lbs or less frequently
Job Qualifications
- Previous cocktail server experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate in English both in written and oral form
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills
- Must have skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
Job Duties
- Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction
- Promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selections of all “call”, and “premium” brands as requested, pass on order to bartender, properly garnish and deliver to guest in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis, before, after and during shift
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
