Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking seasonal Cooks to join their Champions Club team at Target Field. This role is vital in ensuring that food preparation meets high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing guest orders in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines while maintaining an organized and sanitary workstation. The position demands teamwork and effective communication with serving staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests attending games and events at the stadium. This opportunity offers competitive pay of $22.00 per hour and flexible work schedules including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
  • standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
  • manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • no high school diploma or ged required

Job Duties

  • prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items, and packages all products to proper specifications
  • keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
