As a rapidly expanding behavioral health provider, Learning to Achieve Wellness stands out by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, both for staff and patients, to promote recovery and improve quality of life. The team is composed of experienced clinicians and support staff committed to excellence in patient care and customer service. Employment opportunities are available on a full-time and part-time basis, accommodating various schedules including AM, afternoon, and evening shifts to meet the diverse needs of staff and patients.
The role of Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator at Learning to Achieve Wellness is pivotal to maintaining the high standard of patient experience and smooth office operations. Serving as the face of the practice, the receptionist plays a critical role in welcoming patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. This position involves multitasking between patient reception, communication, scheduling, financial transactions, and administrative duties. The work environment is dynamic, requiring the candidate to demonstrate a patient-focused approach and the ability to thrive under pressure while supporting the clinical and administrative teams effectively.
Primarily responsible for managing the front desk operations during their assigned shift, the Medical Receptionist will handle appointment scheduling, patient check-ins and check-outs, and manage phone and text communications across multiple office locations. Additionally, this role requires financial responsibility such as collecting copays and managing billing inquiries, along with light clinical tasks including administering injections and monitoring certain treatments after certification. The position demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to both patient care and the office culture.
Working within the field of behavioral health, candidates will gain valuable experience in a specialized healthcare setting, interacting with patients undergoing psychiatric and behavioral therapy. The role also offers opportunities for professional growth within the company, supported by on-the-job training and additional hours availability. Competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour reflects the importance of this position and the need for dedicated front desk staff who are dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate. Learning to Achieve Wellness values individuals who love helping others, enjoy working as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude, especially in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
