Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • willingness to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • preferred minimum of 1 year customer or patient-facing experience

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year experience working in a customer or patient facing role
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • proficient in using basic office equipment and software

Job Duties

  • answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • assist donors with appointments
  • create or pull donor record files
  • provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • maintain orderly filing system and purge records
  • report to center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement
  • initiate changes to center processes following company approved procedures
