The Center Clinical Manager (CCM) role at ChenMed is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing back office clinical operations at the center level. This role demands active engagement in managing a variety of functions including clinical quality, compliance, patient experience, human resources, and direct supervision of clinical team members such as Care Promoters, Pharmacy/Medication Technicians, and X-ray Technicians. The CCM collaborates closely with Center Leadership to design and execute clinical operational strategies that meet or exceed organizational goals. Beyond administrative leadership, the CCM is hands-on and performs direct patient care duties as necessary, ensuring high levels of clinical competency within the team.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- BA/BS degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or healthcare related field preferred
- active and good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or nationally accredited Certified Medical Assistant
- minimum 5 years progressive work experience in medical clinic, hospital or similar healthcare environment
- minimum 2 years management experience with direct reports
- IV Therapy certification for LPNs where required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days
- experience working with geriatric patients preferred
- EMR system experience preferred
Job Qualifications

- active and good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in current state of employment or nationally accredited Certified Medical Assistant
- minimum 5 years progressive work experience in a medical clinic, hospital or regulated healthcare environment
- minimum 2 years management experience with direct reports, preferably in medical clinic or hospital settings
- IV Therapy certification for LPNs where required by State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within first 90 days of employment
- experience working with geriatric patients preferred
- EMR system experience a plus
Job Duties
- Collaborates with center and divisional leaders to provide VIP service to patients, family members and staff
- manages clinical operations to ensure organizational objectives relative to clinical performance, growth strategy and membership goals are met or exceeded
- ensures proper back office staffing scheduling, approves staff payroll and paid time off, plans for and manages staffing shortages
- performs direct patient care duties as needed including all responsibilities of a Care Promoter
- uses data analytics and dashboards to develop and execute business strategies that increase revenue and quality ratings
- develops protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity, coaches and manages clinical staff performance including disciplinary actions
- manages medical equipment and supply inventory and ensures preventative maintenance
- ensures key performance targets are met including KPI metrics, wait times, patient experience and staff engagement
- leads high-quality selection, hiring and ongoing training for clinical staff and pharmacy/medication technicians
- ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, HIPAA and other governing agencies
- completes required training to dispense medications
- performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion
