The Delivery Representative role is vital to AmeriGas's operations. This position involves safely operating propane delivery trucks to supply propane to residential and commercial customers. Delivery Representatives ensure the proper filling of bulk tanks and delivery of propane cylinders to commercial and industrial clients. Safety is paramount, as individuals in this role must adhere strictly to federal and state codes, AmeriGas safety policies, and operational procedures. Personal protective equipment usage is mandatory, and the role requires physical capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and to lift up to 70 pounds.
This is a full-time position with a pay range of $20.75 to $21.75 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, and prior experience, with opportunities to earn additional performance-based bonuses. Candidates are expected to possess a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. Job Duties
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
- Filling residential and or commercial bulk tanks with propane
- Delivering propane cylinders to commercial industrial customers
- Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
- Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
- Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts
