Operating in Stamford, CT, the company emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable transportation solutions. Valet Park of America is committed to providing a supportive work environment for its employees, offering opportunities for career advancement and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff. The company's fleet includes late-model walk-on 25-passenger shuttles that are regularly cleaned and maintained, ensuring high safety and comfort standards for both employees and customers.

We are currently seeking a dependable Shuttle Driver to join our transportation team in Stamford. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time positions available. Full-time employees can expect to earn approximately $50,000 annually, starting at $22 per hour. The shifts are Monday through Friday, with morning hours from 6:20 AM to 9:20 AM and evening hours from 2:50 PM to 8:05 PM. This schedule is designed to accommodate busy commuter and customer transit times, providing a critical service to the community.

As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This position requires a professional who values safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. Drivers will operate late-model shuttles with the capability of accommodating up to 25 passengers, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs with tie-downs as needed to guarantee accessibility and safety for all riders. You will be expected to perform pre-trip inspections to comply with both federal and company safety standards, helping maintain the operational readiness of each shuttle.

Communication skills are essential for this role, as between driving shifts, you will maintain contact with management, fellow shuttle drivers, and lot attendants using radios. You will be required to keep accurate records of passenger counts, trip times, and complete necessary daily paperwork to document operations. Additionally, drivers will assist in maintaining equipment set-ups, such as signage and cones, contributing to smooth and safe shuttle operations.

Full-time employees will be eligible for health and dental insurance after 90 days with a 50/50 premium split, and paid vacation after one year of employment. The role offers room for advancement within the company for motivated individuals seeking long-term career growth in transportation and customer service roles. Candidates must be at least 20 years of age and possess customer service experience. Importantly, a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement, a current medical card, and clean driving record are mandatory. Background checks and driving tests will be conducted to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.

This position at Valet Park of America is suited for reliable, courteous individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment, are attentive to detail, and enjoy interacting with the public. If you have a passion for safe driving and excellent customer service, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
