Delivery Representatives are essential team members responsible for the safe delivery of propane to residential and commercial customers. This role involves operating propane delivery trucks along designated routes, filling bulk tanks, delivering propane cylinders, and performing all functions while adhering strictly to safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Experience operating commercial delivery vehicles
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to propane handling and delivery
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed safety protocols
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations
  • Follow all AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures
  • Consistently use required personal protective equipment
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs
