The role of Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) at Vantive is both demanding and mission-critical. This position involves operating an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle safely while delivering dialysis products and supplies to a diverse clientele, including home-based patients and kidney dialysis centers. The Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate delivery and rotation of dialysis solutions, managing stock, and handling occasional pick-ups and returns. This role requires flexibility and physical endurance to manage routes that may include overnight travel and necessitates close coordination with patients, healthcare professionals, customer service teams, and various supply chain departments. The typical work schedule offers a favorable four-day work week with two rest days, complemented by competitive compensation starting at $30.19 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package from day one. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement
  • valid medical card
  • minimum of 1 year driving comparable equipment with inside delivery experience preferred
  • ability to maintain driver hours of service log using ELD
  • pass Industrial Capabilities Test
  • ability to perform multi-day routes including overnight travel
  • safely operate material handling equipment like lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, walkie rider, Liftkar (stair climbers)
  • follow all safety rules by Vantive and DOT
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • strong social skills
  • ability to distinguish colors for product labels
  • physically able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varied environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement
  • valid medical card
  • minimum of 1 year driving comparable equipment
  • inside delivery experience preferred
  • ability to maintain driver hours of service log using ELD
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-functional teams
  • knowledge of DOT rules and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Safely operate an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle for dialysis product deliveries
  • deliver dialysis solutions and rotate stock at home patient locations
