The position available is for a Delivery Driver at SRS Distribution's Sacramento location. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites. The Delivery Driver plays a critical part in ensuring that freight is delivered undamaged and on schedule while providing exceptional customer service. This position demands not only driving skill but also physical stamina and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. The role is hourly and offers a base salary typically ranging from $23.51 to $29.90 per hour, with possible overtime based on business needs. As part of the job responsibilities, the Delivery Driver will inspect equipment for safe operation, load and unload heavy building materials (often exceeding 80 pounds), and maintain records complying with federal and state regulations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Minimum Class B license, Class A preferred
- Clear three-year driving record
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 100+ lbs
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage stress and multitask
Job Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Minimum Class B license, Class A strongly preferred
- Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations

Job Duties
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at job sites
- Deliver materials to assigned area following company safety policies
- Maintain required compliance records for state and federal regulations
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
- Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for loading/unloading
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional attitude
