The position available is for a Delivery Driver at SRS Distribution's Sacramento location. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites. The Delivery Driver plays a critical part in ensuring that freight is delivered undamaged and on schedule while providing exceptional customer service. This position demands not only driving skill but also physical stamina and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. The role is hourly and offers a base salary typically ranging from $23.51 to $29.90 per hour, with possible overtime based on business needs. As part of the job responsibilities, the Delivery Driver will inspect equipment for safe operation, load and unload heavy building materials (often exceeding 80 pounds), and maintain records complying with federal and state regulations.
