As a DC CDL Driver at Ferguson, you will operate commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely to and from distribution centers. You will be responsible for adhering to strict schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain flawless operation, and loading and unloading cargo in line with company standards. Maintaining accurate logs related to working hours and vehicle service records is a crucial part of this role, alongside complying with all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations. Collaboration with the dispatch team is essential to successfully execute delivery schedules and meet the company’s commitment to excellent customer service.
