Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Valid CDL A license
Must be at least 21 years old
Able to attain or hold a valid DOT health card
Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
Pass a post offer drug test
Pass a road test
Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment for moving freight

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Internal candidates must have 1 year of service in good standing and be able to obtain CDL permit and DOT health card
External hires may have 0-6 months CDL experience
Valid CDL A
Must be 21 years of age
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test
Pass road test
Attain or have valid current DOT health card
Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases of varying sizes and weights

Job Duties

Attend and successfully complete entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program
Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer
Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight, perform count check and verify customer invoices
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to schedule
Unload products and transport items into customer storage areas, verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures
