The Professional CDL-A Spotter position is an integral role within Ace Hardware's distribution center operations. As a CDL-A Spotter, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and efficient movement and positioning of trailers within the yard, ensuring smooth operations and timely shipments. This role is vital to meeting the company’s high standards for customer service and operational excellence. While primarily yard-based, the position may also involve off-site activities such as cross-dock or backhaul moves and driver recovery tasks. Spotters operate independently but have the complete backing of safety and traffic experts, underscoring the company’s commitment to workplace safety.

Safety is paramount at Ace Hardware, and the distribution center environment is designed to be injury-free with ongoing safety programs, the latest tools, and equipment to protect employees while working. The work schedule for this position is Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, with some flexibility based on business needs. The role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $24.25 to $26.25, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience and education.
