This role is central to the company's logistics and distribution operations.As a US Foods Shuttle Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting a variety of food products via tractor trailers to and from remote dispatch sites. The position typically involves working overnight hours from Sunday through Thursday, generally between 8pm and 5am, offering a competitive hourly wage starting at $26.45. Shuttle Drivers at US Foods not only drive but may also be asked to perform duties as Backhaul or Delivery Drivers, contributing to the flexibility and dynamic nature of the transportation team.The job requires regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company and federal regulations. Candidates should be comfortable driving in various weather conditions and have a solid understanding of manual and automatic transmissions, with a preference for the ability to operate a manual transmission.
