The role of the Hourly CDL-A Delivery Driver at Core-Mark is integral to the nation’s food supply chain. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Able to hand lift and utilize equipment to move product cases of varying sizes and weights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years commercial driving experience
- 1 plus years foodservice distribution industry experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure one
- Able to hand lift and utilize equipment to move or stack product cases of varying sizes and weights
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Immediately report all safety hazards
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count checks of items and check customer invoices of products loaded
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedules
- Unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain signatures
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log per federal, state, and company requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean
