This position is for a dedicated Commercial Driver who will be an integral part of the delivery operations team. The role involves running daily routes with multiple stops to deliver products efficiently and carefully. Drivers are tasked with loading packages onto hand trucks, and unloading them at each stop in the prescribed order. The role requires early morning shifts starting between 2 AM and 5 AM, extending from 8 to 12 hours daily, Monday through Saturday, with a rotating day off during the week. Working on Saturdays is mandatory. Compensation starts at $21.25 per hour plus productivity-based incentives, rewarding efficiency and dedication.

In this role, you will operate under a cross-dock system where you pick up fully loaded trucks from nightly deliveries at designated docks and return empty trucks to assigned lots upon delivery completion. The position occasionally requires assisting with loading trucks, palletizing products, and performing additional duties as assigned, reflecting a team-oriented approach and adaptation to varying operational needs. Physical demands include frequently lifting and moving products weighing from 1 to 75 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds, under different weather conditions, and managing the logistics of product placement often involving stairs, ramps, or dock use.

Customer service is a key component of this job. Drivers will need to verify deliveries with customers, secure signatures, handle discrepancies and communicate with management to resolve issues. Professionalism in handling customer complaints and maintaining safety protocols, including performing vehicle inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, are essential aspects of this role.
