Drivers are responsible for safely operating trucks, performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and two-wheelers, and handling customer transactions when required. Physical demands include the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly throughout each shift and comfortably working and driving in various weather conditions with frequent stops.

US Foods values integrity, reliability, and customer relationships, reflected in the expectations and responsibilities set forth for its drivers. Beyond driving skills, the role requires registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a government-mandated database for commercial driver's license holders, ensuring safety and compliance within the transportation industry. Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, be at least 21 years old, and possess a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry or three months specifically in food or beverage delivery. Joining US Foods means more than just securing a job; it means embarking on a career path with a leading foodservice distributor that values its employees and supports their growth and success. With a commitment to total rewards and a culture rooted in collaborative spirit and service, US Foods offers a rewarding environment for drivers who take pride in their work, maintain high standards, and contribute to shaping the communities they serve.
