This commitment is reflected in the company's robust competitive benefits package, which includes day-one health and wellness benefits, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, paid time off, and more. The company prides itself on maintaining a culture of safety and inclusivity, ensuring that all team members can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the company’s mission.

The CDL-A Delivery Driver role at Core-Mark is vital to the success of America’s food supply chain. These drivers deliver essential food and food service products safely and reliably, maintaining the quality and integrity of the goods from warehouse to customer. Positioned in Springfield, OH, this full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually, with the added benefit of a four-day workweek and being home daily. This schedule promotes a healthy work-life balance, enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.

Delivery drivers represent the face of the company, building lasting relationships with customers and ensuring delivery processes are conducted professionally. The role requires the operation of tractor trailers or straight trucks on both intrastate and interstate routes, carefully adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Drivers perform critical tasks including pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, securing, loading, and unloading freight, accurate completion of delivery documentation, and managing customer transactions when necessary.

Beyond logistical responsibilities, drivers are expected to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. They must maintain compliance with all safety standards and company policies to mitigate risks on the road and at delivery sites. The role also involves some physical labor, requiring drivers to handle freight ranging typically from 10 to 35 pounds, with occasional heavier loads up to 90 pounds, using equipment such as hand trucks and lift gates.

Core-Mark is proudly an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment. The company complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, promoting diversity and inclusivity at every level. Candidates with a clean driving record and a commitment to the company’s core values will find rewarding opportunities for advancement within this dynamic and growing organization.
