With a culture rooted in promoting from within, continuous improvement, and excellent training programs, US Foods has built a strong reputation in the foodservice industry. Founded on pillars of integrity, reliability, and service, the company plays a crucial role in shaping communities by helping customers thrive with innovative products and services. US Foods' commitment goes beyond its customers; it also focuses on supporting and rewarding its associates with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Becoming a US Foods driver means joining a dynamic team that values safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Drivers play a vital role in the company's success by ensuring timely delivery of products, maintaining equipment standards, and fostering positive relationships with customers. This position requires a valid CDL Class A license and offers a chance to earn up to $130,000 in the first year, including a $15,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires. The work schedule is Monday through Saturday, with two days off, though Saturdays are mandatory workdays. Dispatch times typically fall between midnight and 5:00 AM. Drivers benefit from a strong safety culture, supportive local leadership, and benefits starting from the first day of employment, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance.

In addition to delivering products safely and efficiently, US Foods drivers engage in customer service duties such as verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and handling collections when applicable. Physical demands include lifting heavy products repeatedly and operating in various weather conditions with frequent stops. Drivers must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse and meet Department of Transportation drug and alcohol compliance requirements. This role is ideal for individuals with a responsible attitude, excellent communication skills in English, and a preference for driving commercial vehicles, including manual transmission where required. Overall, the position offers a rewarding career path within a respected company that champions its employees' success both on and off the road.
