The current opportunity is for a Route Driver to join the transportation team, an essential role focusing on the timely and safe delivery of products to customer businesses. The Route Driver is responsible for navigating assigned routes, performing vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards, assembling and delivering orders accurately, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the delivery process. Candidates will be expected to manage multiple tasks, comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies, and handle administrative duties associated with deliveries. Driver safety is prioritized through the use of advanced technology such as AI-driven dash cameras to monitor and enhance safe driving practices.

Job Duties
- Perform product deliveries along assigned routes
- Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service as needed
- Assemble orders for timely delivery ensuring accurate delivery windows
- Place delivered products according to customer requests
- Maintain accuracy of delivered products with no damage
- Immediately communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor
- Read maps and follow geographic directions
- Manage multiple assignments ensuring appropriate use of time and equipment
- Follow transportation policies and DOT regulations
- Comply with traffic laws and company safety guidelines
- Complete administrative tasks and paperwork for transportation operations
- Review customer invoices to determine delivery items
- Report mechanical problems, delays, or accidents to base
- Turn in receipts and monies from customer deliveries
- Maintain records including vehicle logs and billing statements
