Job Description

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is a not-for-profit organization responsible for managing the outstanding Dickies Arena, a premier 14,000-seat multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by the City of Fort Worth, this state-of-the-art arena opened its doors in November 2019 and has since become a central hub for a wide variety of events. These range from concerts and sporting events to family entertainment and the renowned Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances. The arena is equipped with modern facilities that cater to diverse event needs, making it a landmark destination in Fort Worth. As a key player in the local entertainment and event management landscape, TDMC is dedicated to maintaining high standards of guest experience, operational excellence, and community engagement.

The Catering Food & Beverage Supervisor role at TDMC offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional catering services within the bustling environment of Dickies Arena. Reporting directly to the Manager of Catering Operations, the Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing all catering functions, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality, customer service, and operational quality. This position requires flexibility, as catering events occur at various times and across multiple venue areas. The supervisor acts not only as a leader and coordinator but also as an active team member who supports event setup, execution, and cleanup.

In this leadership capacity, the Catering Supervisor serves as a crucial liaison between team members and management, driving the development and implementation of innovative practices and policies aimed at enhancing catering performance. Collaboration is essential, as this role involves partnering closely with all Food & Beverage departments, particularly the culinary team, to ensure events are executed flawlessly from start to finish. Maintaining food quality, sanitation, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service are fundamental responsibilities. The supervisor also manages documentation related to catering events, including temperature logs, inventory sheets, and consumption records.

A successful candidate will have the ability to coach staff during live events, facilitate smooth communication among departments, and oversee the organization and cleanliness of catering areas. Familiarity with the arena's layout and menu offerings will be important for proactive guest service and operational efficiency. This role requires a combination of hands-on management, critical thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to support the Food & Beverage Leadership Team in delivering memorable catering experiences. Flexibility in scheduling, including working nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary due to the nature of event scheduling at the venue.
