Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years culinary experience including at least one year in management
  • Ability to work full-time with a varied schedule including catering events
  • Knowledge of inventory, ordering, scheduling, financials, and management
  • Experience in fine dining and high volume banquet operations
  • Ability to motivate and develop culinary staff
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of related culinary experience including one year at the management level
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service operations
  • Knowledge of food industry trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Ability to set up and distribute production sheets
  • Supervisory, leadership, training, management, and coaching skills
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
  • Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office products like Excel
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Assist with planning and creating menus
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team
