Job Description

Starwood Hotels is a renowned luxury hotel brand management company and an affiliate of the global private investment firm Starwood Capital Group. Founded in 2006 by Barry Sternlicht, Starwood Hotels has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry through its dedication to innovative hotel management and a committed focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and exceptional guest experiences. One of its distinguished brands, Treehouse Hotels, embodies a unique blend of adventure, creativity, and comfort, inspired by the nostalgic charm of childhood treehouses. Treehouse Hotels are designed to offer guests a playful and freeing experience with cozy spaces, repurposed crafts, locally sourced treats, and engaging amenities that celebrate the spirit of discovery and warm, handmade details.

Treehouse Hotels’ flagship property, the Treehouse Hotel London, opened in November 2019, setting a standard for combining whimsical thematic elements with modern sophistication. The brand’s properties focus on attentive service, thoughtful programming, and locally inspired fun to offer guests a memorable stay that feels both carefree and contemporary. At Treehouse Sunnyvale, for example, the hotel environment is crafted through this same optimistic lens, boasting culinary delights reimagined to complement the thoughtful amenities and warm atmosphere.

The company culture at Starwood Hotels and Treehouse Hotels emphasizes respect for nature, collaboration, and stellar customer service that engages both guests and team members alike. This culture is supported by competitive health and wellness programs, career advancement prospects, and a commitment to inclusivity and diversity across the workforce.

Currently, Starwood Hotels is seeking a dynamic and exuberant Catering Sales Manager to join the Treehouse Hotels team. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing luxury event sales and catering services, bringing creativity and a keen business sense to the table. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury events, proven sales success, excellent communication skills, and an ability to lead and inspire teams effectively. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing revenue through innovative event planning, client engagement, and marketing strategies, while maintaining high standards of guest service and financial performance.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year. The role demands flexibility, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of various events and celebrations. Starwood Hotels provides an enriching work environment described as "Designed by Nature" with thoughtful perks such as comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, an Employee Assistance Program, retirement planning, paid personal days, and career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding global company. Select employees also have access to the unique SH University for professional development and certification opportunities, along with a Team Member Recognition program to celebrate achievements and foster a giving spirit.

Overall, the role of Catering Sales Manager at Treehouse Hotels offers an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about creating extraordinary event experiences and growing within a forward-thinking, mission-driven luxury hotel company that values its people, its guests, and the planet.
