The Catering Services Worker plays a vital role in the success of Aramark’s event and catering operations. This hourly position, compensated at a rate of $21.82, involves supporting the event operations team to ensure seamless catering orders and events. Responsibilities include setting up catering and event services according to client and banquet order specifications, transporting food, beverages, and equipment to event locations, replenishing supplies during events, maintaining cleanliness of service areas, and breaking down and cleaning up after event conclusion. The role requires providing excellent customer service and following all safety policies and procedures. The position is event-based and may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Employees must adhere to a designated dress code and complete required training in Food Handling and Alcohol Service. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible, event-based hours
- Must follow company dress code
- Must complete required Food Handling and Alcohol Service training
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous catering experience preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Must follow the required dress code as assigned
- Must be available to work event-based hours
- Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required
Job Duties
- Set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
- Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
- Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
- Replenish food and beverage products during events
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
- Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
- Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests
- Follow safety policies and procedures
