Job Requirements

  • 5+ years hospitality experience
  • 3+ years kitchen management in large-volume catering
  • Certified Food Safety Manager (CA)
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules
  • Ability to commute within 50 miles of San Francisco

Job Duties

  • Oversee commissary prep and off-site kitchen set-ups for high-volume events
  • Direct kitchen staff and logistics teams to ensure seamless transport, assembly, service, and teardown
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and labor standards
  • Control inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor labor and food costs to meet budget goals
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff
  • Step in hands-on when needed from line cooking to full kitchen oversight
