The role of Catering Executive Chef at Eurest is a unique opportunity to lead high-end culinary operations in a corporate Executive Briefing Center setting. This position focuses on creating and delivering fine dining experiences tailored to VIP clients, specifically with an emphasis on Asian cuisine and Asian-inspired dishes. The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining a safe and sanitary workplace, and ensuring that all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role supports a healthy work-life balance with a traditional Monday-Friday schedule, operating within a professional corporate environment.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing VIP catering menus, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines, managing kitchen staff training, maintaining equipment and cleanliness, handling inventory and food utilization, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The Executive Chef also collaborates with staff through regular meetings and professional development programs to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent culinary experience
- 5+ years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- extensive high-end catering and VIP experience
- strong expertise in Asian cuisine
- knowledge of health and sanitation regulations
- ability to lead kitchen staff effectively
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ServSafe certification preferred
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ability to work Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent culinary experience
- 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
- extensive high-end catering, VIP, experience
- strong expertise in Asian cuisine
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- institutional and batch cooking experiences
- hands-on chef with ability to lead while actively cooking
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and general computer systems
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
- ServSafe certified (highly desirable)
- proficiency in an Asian language is a plus
Job Duties
- Plan and execute VIP catering menus and private chef experiences focused on Asian cuisine and Asian-inspired dishes
- follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards while maintaining elevated fine dining quality
- complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste logs
- taste and verify all finished dishes for quality and consistency
- train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standards
- establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas
- maintain inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines
- make all decisions regarding utilization of leftover food products staying within Company guidelines
- comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- follow facility, department, and Company safety policies and procedures
- participate and attend departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs
