Job Requirements
- previous experience as a chef line cook or catering chef preferred
- experience preparing food for large groups or events is a plus
- strong time management and multitasking skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
Job Qualifications

- experience in southern upscale casual or event-style cuisine is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare and execute menu items for catered events including corporate events private parties weddings and special occasions
- assist with menu planning and recipe development for catering menus
- ensure food quality taste and presentation meet company standards
- coordinate food preparation timelines to ensure on-time service for events
- maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards servsafe guidelines preferred
- assist with food inventory ordering and prep planning for upcoming events
- work closely with the catering manager and event staff to ensure smooth event execution
- pack transport and assist with food setup for off-site catering events when necessary
- maintain a clean organized kitchen and prep area
