In this dynamic environment, the role of Category Management Analyst located in Bentonville, AR, is a vital part of the National Accounts Sales team. This position primarily focuses on designing category and space-based selling solutions in partnership with the Chain Accounts Region Chain team to advance the company's business objectives. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, the analyst works closely with assigned chain account teams to offer strategic support for their customers. The role requires a blend of analytical skills and business acumen to provide insights that drive category growth and align with retailer strategies.

The Category Management Analyst responsibilities include delivering critical insights and analytical support to maximize the customer’s full beverage needs, capturing a disproportionate share of growth opportunities. The role also demands an understanding of category, channel, and shopper insights through syndicated and internal data. The analyst evaluates plan effectiveness through in-market activities and identifies opportunities to increase retail volume and profit. General performance reporting is a key component, involving tracking, measuring, and communicating results effectively. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or relevant field or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • Ability to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide critical insights and analytical support with the Chain team to drive the customer’s full beverage needs and capture a disproportionate share of growth
  • Provide understanding of category, channel, and shopper insights to sales teams through syndicated and internal data and how that aligns with retailers’ strategy and business goals
  • Participate in in-market work to evaluate effectiveness of plan implementation as well as identifying retail volume/profit opportunities
  • Conduct general performance reporting to track, measure, and communicate results
  • Collaborate closely with Chain Accounts Region Chain team and assigned account teams to support customer objectives
  • Analyze market trends and provide recommendations to adapt strategies with urgency
  • Maintain strong business relationships within the organization and with external partners
