Thompson Dallas is recognized for blending history, design, and culture to create a uniquely elevated guest experience. The hotel features three full-service dining and drinking venues, a boutique spa and fitness center focused on wellness, and expansive event spaces, including the impressive 14,000 square foot National Ballroom. As part of the renowned Hyatt Hotels Corporation portfolio, Thompson Dallas upholds a commitment to excellence, offering world-class services and surroundings that foster connection among guests and the local community.

Within this extraordinary setting, the Catbird lounge invites patrons to enjoy a lush indoor and outdoor rooftop environment framed by rich greenery, spectacular skyline views, and curated world-class artwork. Catbird’s beverage program is a refined blend of mid-century cocktail classics ranging from light and refreshing to spirit-forward, complemented by an eclectic menu of shareable culinary bites. As a Bar-back at Catbird within Thompson Dallas, you will play a vital role in maintaining a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for keeping the bar fully stocked, partnering closely with bartenders, and ensuring the back-of-house area runs smoothly. This fast-paced role requires a proactive and passionate individual dedicated to 5-star service and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs with exceptional style and professionalism. Communication skills are critical as you will often engage with guests to enhance their visit through friendly and polished interaction. Physical stamina is also necessary as the role involves lifting moderate weights and standing for extended periods. Joining this team means being part of a rock-star group of hospitality professionals working together to create transformational experiences that leave guests impressed and eager to return.

In addition to the dynamic work environment, Thompson Dallas offers excellent benefits to its team members. These include free and discounted room nights, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance, life and disability insurance coverage, a 401K plan with company match, paid holidays and generous paid time off, paid family bonding and adoption assistance, an employee stock purchase program, discounts at popular retailers such as Apple and AT&T, tuition reimbursement, and transportation benefits including discounted parking and DART passes. This robust package reflects the company’s investment in its employees’ well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance. If you are passionate about guest service, thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment, and want to advance your career with a Fortune 100 Best Company to Work For, the Bar-back position at Thompson Dallas is an exceptional opportunity to apply your skills and grow with a leading hospitality brand.
